What's a realistic ROAS (return on ad spend)?
Industry average for paid social is around 3–4x ROAS for direct response campaigns once they're optimized. Lead-gen campaigns measure differently — typically cost per qualified lead rather than ROAS. For e-commerce, 4x+ ROAS is the target. For services, $50–$200 cost per qualified lead is typical. We'll set realistic benchmarks for your specific industry on the kickoff call.
Do you create the ad creative or do I need to provide it?
Either works. Our in-house design team builds static graphics, carousels, and short-form video as needed — it's included in most plans. If you have an in-house creative team or existing assets, we'll work with what you have. For brands that need lots of video volume (TikTok especially), creative production becomes the bottleneck — we'll help you plan accordingly.

A typical B2C client might run Meta for reach and retargeting, plus a small Nextdoor budget for hyperlocal. A B2B client might run LinkedIn for top-of-funnel and Meta retargeting for warm leads. Meta campaigns typically start producing qualified leads in week 2–4 after the learning phase wraps. Performance usually improves through the first 90 days as we refine audiences and creative. LinkedIn has a longer consideration cycle and may take 60–90 days to show meaningful ROI. Nextdoor often shows fastest results because the audience is hyperlocal and the competition is lower.
What's the difference between boosted posts and real ads?
Boosted posts use a stripped-down targeting interface and the platform's default optimization. They get reach but rarely convert. Real campaigns built in Ads Manager (or LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.) give you proper audience targeting, conversion optimization, A/B testing, custom audiences, retargeting, and detailed reporting. Same dollar spent — 5–10x the result, typically.
