What is the difference between the 6-month and monthly pricing?
The 6-month commitment pricing is our discounted rate — you save up to 15% compared to the month-to-month price. With 6-month pricing, you're billed monthly at the lower rate in exchange for the commitment. There are no long-term contracts beyond that — after 6 months you continue month-to-month at the same rate.
What does AI-Assisted content mean on the Greenhorn plan?
The Greenhorn plan uses AI tools to help generate social media content, which allows us to keep the price lower while maintaining quality. A dedicated human social media manager still reviews, edits, and approves all content before it goes out — the AI handles the heavy lifting on drafting. If you want fully human-written content, the Bushwacker plan and above include that.
What is the Content Capture Kit?
The Content Capture Kit is a guide we send to every Bushwacker, Bodacious, and El Gran Toro client during onboarding. Original on-site content — your team, your work, your finished projects — outperforms stock and AI imagery on every platform, but most business owners aren't sure what to capture or how. The kit gives you a simple shot list, lighting and angle tips, monthly content prompts tied to your business cycle, and quick examples of what makes great social-ready footage. You shoot it on your phone in a few minutes a week; we handle the editing, captioning, and posting. It's how we keep your content authentically yours without you having to think like a content creator.
What is Local Audience Growth?
Local Audience Growth is our hands-on process for growing your following with real people in your service area — not bots or random followers from across the country. We identify, engage with, and follow relevant local accounts (potential customers, neighboring businesses, community pages, local influencers), respond to local conversations, and use location-based hashtags and tagging strategies. The result: your audience grows with people who can actually walk in your door, hire you, or refer you to a neighbor.
What's included with Sponsored Posts & Page Monitoring?
Sponsored Posts are select organic posts we boost with paid promotion on Facebook and Instagram to put them in front of a larger, targeted audience — great for announcements, promotions, or your strongest-performing content. Page Monitoring is our daily check-in on your social pages: we respond to comments, hide spam, route DMs that need your attention, and keep an eye on tags and mentions so nothing slips through. Ad spend for boosted posts is billed separately through your own ad account.
What does Review Management cover?
Review Management is how we help you build and protect your online reputation. We monitor incoming reviews across Google, Facebook, and other major platforms, alert you to anything that needs your direct attention, and draft professional responses to both positive and negative reviews for your approval before they're posted. Consistent, thoughtful responses signal to future customers — and to Google's local ranking algorithm — that you're an active, responsive business.
What's the difference between Social Media Monitoring and Listening?
Monitoring is tracking direct activity on your own pages — comments, mentions, DMs, tags. Listening goes wider: we watch for conversations about your brand, your industry, your competitors, and relevant local topics across public social channels. That gives us early signals on what your audience cares about, fresh content ideas tied to real conversations, and the chance to jump into relevant threads where your business can add value or attract new followers.
Is there a setup fee?
No setup fee on any plan — ever. You pay your first month when you sign up and we get to work. We don't believe in charging you before we've delivered any value.
Does ad spend come out of my plan price?
No. Your plan price covers our management fee. Any ad spend for sponsored posts or Facebook/Instagram ads is billed separately and goes directly through your ad account. We recommend a minimum of $200–300/month in ad spend to see meaningful results from boosted content.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Absolutely. You can upgrade at any time — we'll prorate the difference. If you're on a 6-month commitment and want to downgrade, we'll talk through your options. Our goal is to keep you on the plan that's actually right for your business, not lock you into something that doesn't fit.
What happens after I sign up?
After you complete checkout, you'll receive a welcome email within one business day along with an onboarding questionnaire — that's where you'll share your brand details and upload your logo, brand guidelines, photography, and any existing assets we should work from. From there we'll schedule your onboarding call, set up your dedicated Slack channel if your plan includes one, and get everything moving. Most clients have their first content calendar and approval link within 7–10 business days of signing up.
